CWC Manual Chronograph 80's British Military Issue

Cabot Watch Company were founded in 1972, have been contractors to H.M. forces for over 30 years. Specialising in tough stainless steel watches with reliable and accurate movements.


At one time Jaeger Le coultre, Omega, IWC, Rolex, almost all of the top watch marcs have supplied the British Military and today CWC are still one of the main suppliers of genuine British military watches and are awarded many contracts based on quality, reliability and durability.

CWC watches are largely quartz these days this watch is one from their mechanical 80’s issue probably to the Royal Navy to Replace the 0552 chronograph which was for Naval helicopter pilots. I have one of those on the way also….

This watch is a 30 minute mechanical chronograph with issue markings but not worn in service, great watch with very cool styling.

This is a military Seiko ‘Split Seconds’ chronograph issued to RAF pilots from the early 80’s the particular model displayed is dated 1989. I have read that Seiko have only made an issued piece for the RAF with this model and the Japanese Airforce during WWII.

What a cool ‘sterile’ looking mil watch this is.... eh?
