I am wearing my Bremont today but had a good look at a new ALT1-P yesterday, may have to get one soon.

I should also be wearing this as it has proved so popular recently!

Page Great collection of Bremonts there. I'm somewhat envious, I must admit! Quick question - what's the small "buttony" thing on the ALT-1P do? I hadn't noticed it before, but like Al, have been ogling them for a while now (especially since I saw the shots of Giles' watch on the new bracelet). M |

Mat, it's the quick set for the date. Harking back to those vintage watches that had day/date and moonphase...
Question is can you have a number of watches from a range that are essentially the same bar the dial? Each one does have it's own character and could be worn for a different circumstance...

Martin Thanks. Had forgotten about the quick set... Re your question, I'm unlikely to get another Bremont in the short term. Desperately want an EP120, but doing up the flat is probably more of a priority! Can't wait for the diver, which (I assume) will be substantially different. As for the "character", I've recently been looking again at the BCs. Different movement. Very different look. Understated, and probably underestimated by many. Was in Selfridges recently pawing over them - still tempted to buy one and lay it down for a few years for my godson - and it certainly grew on me as I was wearing it... Anyway, have a great weekend, M |
