The idea of forums is for people to meet discuss and share ideas about watches, old new, blue, green anything! The site is largely for chronograph enthusiasts, but that does not mean that you cannot post about other types of watches just as long as they are interesting in their own way. Discuss ‘Off topic’ subjects not relating to the watch world and post your pictures too See Forum Guide for advice.

12-08-2008 03:40:55 PM Alert

I've had this for a while now but it rarely gets worn (too many watches ) and I need to liberate some cash to get my central heating fixed before winter, very dull I know.

I'm posting this from work so don't have all the details to hand, I'll update later.

Dates from September 1975. Mint condition, it's a Japanese market only model and I've never seen another like it.

Movement
Features
automatic chronograph, 60s, 30min, pillar wheel
no manual wind
day: quickset by pushing the crown deeper, 2 languages
date: quickset by pushing the crown less deep
21 jewels
f = 21600 A/h
power-reserve 45h

Good points
Generous size for a vintage piece (I'll post dimensions later)
Mint condition
Rare
Beautiful iridescent blue/green dial
Internal bezel (I love 'em)

Bad points
Centre seconds chrono hand resets to 57 minutes not 60.
Not a big problem and an easy fix just wanted to be as honest as poss.
Non original bracelet. A very good and well fitting after market one though.

Some quick pics, it's pretty hard to capture the dial as it changes colour depending on light.
Hopefully these will give you a rough idea.

Price
£165 inc RMSD for this one please. Cheque, bank transfer or Paypal (+4%) all fine with me. Any questions just fire away garyandlucy[at]blueyonder[dot]co[dot]uk

Cheers,

Gary

Gary, there are lots of things I like about it, but a few I dont.

If you were wanting to part with the 6139-7100 from February 1977, then that would be a different matter.

Sorry Dave that's already gone, well it's being posted tomorrow anyway. TBH they're pretty easy to come by but I've never seen another 7060 before, let alone one in this condition.

Can't understand why this one is still hanging around , so a small reminder and reduction to £150 all in (Paypal +4%).

Cheers,

Gary
