A couple more on this topic. Firstly, Konrad Knirim's site is fantastic for military timepiece information. It is here:
http://www.knirim.de/english.htm
If you want information on the Porsche Design, Joseph Tengler, Arctos and Tutima 5100s all used by the German forces, then follow the dial-shaped Gallery of timepieces link, and scroll down to Bundeswehr: Chronographen BUND with Lemania 5100. I cannot post a direct link as it is in a sub-window.
These watches are all pictured in the other link, but dates and issues are revealed in Konrad's site. There is plenty more to look at in that site as well.
Moving on, I suppose it may go without saying that Chuck Maddox's site has a wealth of material of interest to you all, but with reference to the 5100 only, you may well want to look at
http://home.xnet.com/~cmaddox/c1045_in_detail.html
A total review of the Omega 1045 (erstwhile Lemania 5100) range in all its complexity. I think I am right in saying that the only one not represented there is the Omega FIFA, some photos of which can be found here
http://www.cagi-due.co.jp/omega/23.htm
This link may not survive too long, as it is a sale posting
Furthermore, an overview of the 5100 movement family can also be found on Chuck's site here
http://chuckmaddoxwatch.blogspot.com/2005/12/lemania-5100-movement-family_13.html
compiled with help of Pascal, who has been posting here on ATG more recently (amongst others his Mareoscope also features in the article).
This should give most would-be 5100 fans enough to chomp on for a while.
Enjoy
