ATG Forums

The idea of forums is for people to meet discuss and share ideas about watches, old new, blue, green anything! The site is largely for chronograph enthusiasts, but that does not mean that you cannot post about other types of watches just as long as they are interesting in their own way. Discuss ‘Off topic’ subjects not relating to the watch world and post your pictures too See Forum Guide for advice.

THE FORUMS ARE NOW READ ONLY; The New ATG Forums have arrived!  Please re-register on the new forum to begin posting.

Stumbled across a mint Tony Alva skateboard FS from 1977 the other day. Well the memories came flooding back as this was my passion in the late 70's in Crewe (well there was sweet FA to do unless you were a trainspotter ). Then I came across this site and liked their attitude, I might just join and get me a new set of wheels .

And that TA board I was talking about, cool or what

Link if anyone's interested

So, anymore boarders here? Maybe we could form the ATG shredders club (OK maybe not ).

Cheers,

Gary

I had a Surfer Sam board, skinny thick wooden board, skinny wheels, absolute death trap at speed. Remember getting a flexi board with wide wheels and the "stopper" (like Gary's black thingy) on the back to help with tricks - not quite a Tony Alva - but thought I was pretty good! I got out just before the arse of your pants migrated down to just above your knees, and you needed to reduce your communication skills to the level of algae to ride a board. Pity really, was good fun. Am I an old fart officially?

Dunno Dave. Why not run a poll on this forum to find out?
