The site is largely for chronograph enthusiasts, but that does not mean that you cannot post about other types of watches just as long as they are interesting in their own way. Discuss ‘Off topic’ subjects not relating to the watch world and post your pictures too See Forum Guide for advice.

Below was what they said, 10 out of 10 for this guy!

Definitely Mark Spitz although I doubt he would have been so fast if he was wearing one of those.
Cheers - Simon

That's weird.
It's a definite Olympic multi Gold medallist.

When I first stumbled across this site I contacted Al and in our first few email exchnages I sent him the pic below as something that is right at the top of my wish list. I prefer it very slightly to the Movado version, but seeing as I am a great Movado fan (still wearing that Pilot - haven't changed for 6 months!), either would be purchased instantly.
So, if anyone here ever sees the Zenith Super Sub Sea for sale, please let me know.

Ian

What can I say?
This is the first time I've seen either the Movado or the Zenith and I'm smitten. Can't decide which version I like best, probably the more conservative Movado but then again....

A definite Mark Spitz for me although I'd be swimming around in circles if I wore this. Maybe that's the answer, just wear them both. Lol!

Cheers,

Gary

I guess I tipped my hand by blurting out my appreciation of this watch on the sales post...
Mark Spitz, for definite, leaving David Wilkie trailing in its wake.
I actually do prefer the Movado version to the Zenith.
I also notice that the Movado has a hatched compressor-style crown, and the Zenith one that is a little smaller. I assume that the Movado one is the original? Even if it is not, it is a cool detail.
cheers
