Below was what they said, 10 out of 10 for this guy!
Definitely Mark Spitz although I doubt he would have been so fast if he was wearing one of those. Cheers - Simon
That's weird. It's a definite Olympic multi Gold medallist.
When I first stumbled across this site I contacted Al and in our first few email exchnages I sent him the pic below as something that is right at the top of my wish list. I prefer it very slightly to the Movado version, but seeing as I am a great Movado fan (still wearing that Pilot - haven't changed for 6 months!), either would be purchased instantly. So, if anyone here ever sees the Zenith Super Sub Sea for sale, please let me know.
Ian
What can I say? This is the first time I've seen either the Movado or the Zenith and I'm smitten. Can't decide which version I like best, probably the more conservative Movado but then again....
A definite Mark Spitz for me although I'd be swimming around in circles if I wore this. Maybe that's the answer, just wear them both. Lol!
Cheers,
Gary
I guess I tipped my hand by blurting out my appreciation of this watch on the sales post... Mark Spitz, for definite, leaving David Wilkie trailing in its wake. I actually do prefer the Movado version to the Zenith. I also notice that the Movado has a hatched compressor-style crown, and the Zenith one that is a little smaller. I assume that the Movado one is the original? Even if it is not, it is a cool detail. cheers DaveS
