Well so far I have the first samples as shown here in the pictures and below are the confirmed changes from my manufacturer Jean Rousseau
in France, there are some good diagrams to show the roll of the strap top and the graduation down to the thickness of a dress watch strap at the buckle. All looks good so far!

Main
modifications requested by ATG for

PILOT STRAP
Retainers
- 7 mm closer to the buckle
- Stitching decoration (diagonal cross)
Pin holes
- Move holes set according to change made on
retainers - Moved closer to buckle to adapt to smaller wrists
Leather
- Jean Rousseau will submit new samples of leather
: red, brown, black, for selection by
DIVER STRAP
Thickness /
Profile
- Over the first 40 mm, 5 mm thickness, then the
strap will decrease to 2.5 mm all the way to the end (scheme below)

- Higher in the middle than the sides (rounded
“Blancpain look”


Pin holes
- Increase the distance between the tip and the
last hole (same as pilot)
Stitching (for
Diver 2&3)
- Thicker thread and cream colour
Shape of the end
of the strap
- The end of the strap should be more “pointed”. It
is possible but depending on straps sizes it will require additional
tooling (=> add costs)
