Great night. Lovely to meet Nick and Giles and finally see the watch. I think everyone agreed that she's even better looking than they could have hoped, although the process has obviously not been without hiccups! Great to meet others too; apologies for bailling out on you in Quag's!

In all the excitement, it took us a few minutes to realise there were masses of fingerprints all over it! The prop on the back looks brilliant. The small second prop on the front is beautiful. The patina on the Trip Time dial is spot on. In summary - I need to get my hands on one!

Al - feel free to download the full size versions from Flickr and do with them what you will. I'll mess around with them tonight too, and repost. www.flickr.com/photos/noodlefish/sets/72157604170332370

Having had time to take in the photo's, the watch is astounding. Really like the unconventional dial layout and the rotor is great.
Also the strap being integrated more into the case is fantastic. What was the buckle like?

The only thing I am unsure of at this stage is the Bremont logo on the dial, looks raised up also the EP120 is in white, not red as in the mock up photo's.

Great shots Mat!

Considering we only found out the watch was on display in an anti room late on I think you did great. Bit dark for me Leica so my shots aren't great. I'll have a fiddle later.

The evening was a bit bonkers but was made very pleasant by the company.

Geoff and his wife Ursula, Mat and Jon and Sue Ashbay. (Jon being the designer of the ATG watch dial) still to be realised.

The watch is undoubtedly cool, it must be as Orlando Bloom was there.....

Money was raised for http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ which was a good thing, the band was classy and champagne was not too dry. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to shooting the EP 120 in the flesh. pics to follow.

Quick apology for the image quality. I was shooting on the "H" ISO setting on my Canon 30D (effectively an ISO 3200, although Canons are notoriously more sensitive, so could even be ISO 4000!). Hence the grainy loook to the shots. May need to run them through Noise Ninja. DOF was a nightmare, as I was shooting at f2.8 to try and use as much light as possible. Should really have had a decent flash with diffuser, but seem to be spending more money on watches than camera accessories at the moment... I'll try and do something clever tonight and repost. Seems a shame that I photographed such a beautiful watch so poorly. Sorry. And sorry to Bremont too. Hopefully their photographer got much, much better shots...

PS - I think we need a new section on the Forum. Maybe an "Ask Al..." sub-forum? I'll kick things off

"Dear Al
Orlando Bloom wears the same watch as me but seems to get far more press, media and female attention. What am I doing wrong?
Yours in confusion
An ALT1-C Creme wearer."

Congratulations to all at Bremont for what sounds like a great launch for their EP120. I hope their success carries them forward in years to come (not least of all coz I want one of their still to be developed divers .)
