I am tempted to say No, no, no, no, no - and hope that is enough opinions expressed on the matter.
However, I quite like the thought that has gone into the 24-hr dial (light hands on black for daylight, Lume-backed for nighttime) even though I know that I would be staring at it for a good 10 seconds before I figured out what time it was.
That said, the slightly camp over-the-top-glam-retro look of the coin-edged case, bar lugs and huge ball crown really does not do it for me. At all. Makes me shiver in fact.
Each to his own, and I will certainly not be owning any of these, but that shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone here.

Yuck!
Just all wrong as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't mind the onion crown (although I can't begin to imagine that it's going to be remotely comfortable for you righties) and coin edge for it's historical context. Then they go and through all that heritage away with those nasty, flat, screen printed dials. A total travesty.
Sorry, the more I look at them the more angry it makes me, I'm out of here!
Bye,
Gary |

I kind of liked the day / night dial, but to be honest:
- Just couldn't see living with that protruding onion crown. Only a matter of time until it gets snapped off, and it would be digging into the back of my hand or wrist.. Makes me nervous to see it protruding vulnerably like that, and just bugs me too.
- No way I could live with the 24 hour dial, I'm just too attuned to the 12 hour one. Heck, do you know how long it took tor them to teach me reading time in grade school? Horologically speaking, I rode on the "short bus".
- Dial and hands just too busy, with extraneous curlicues, points, etc.
Sorry Alistair, I probably shouldn't rain on the parade, but... |

Sorry Al Not a fan. Can't even begin to imagine who would take one of these things underwater! Unless it was to leave it there and claim on insurance... Sorry... Mat |

No, for me. Probably the least offensive is the second one down.
That Onion crown would be seriously digging into my wrist.

Gee, now I wish I'd voted it a swimmer, talk about a pile on! Feel the love. Interesting watch though, even if it would be tough for a clutz like me to live with. |
