ATG Forums

The idea of forums is for people to meet discuss and share ideas about watches, old new, blue, green anything! The site is largely for chronograph enthusiasts, but that does not mean that you cannot post about other types of watches just as long as they are interesting in their own way. Discuss ‘Off topic’ subjects not relating to the watch world and post your pictures too See Forum Guide for advice.

THE FORUMS ARE NOW READ ONLY; The New ATG Forums have arrived!  Please re-register on the new forum to begin posting.

Sometimes here, sometimes there, and sometimes I can't remember where

Thought I'd share a little piece of knowledge with you all. Since joining this forum I have had regular problems posting new messages where the text box we usual type into doesn't quite appear, or at least the blue suround does but not the white text entry zone. I found that if I refreshed the page a few times I would eventually get a white text box and then all was OK.

This was a particular pain when posting "poll" topics as each subsequent addition of the new poll option meant that the text screen would be lost. By the way, using Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer also overcame the problem.

Solution - I have just uninstalled Mcafee Internet Security Suite (with some difficulty, but that's another story) and installed Kaspersky Internet Security and hey-presto, problem solved.

Don't know if anyone else has suffered from this but if you have, I hope this helps.

Cheers - Simon
