Well I was there early with Gary (Agent Orange) and although I promised
myself I would go without alcohol I am afraid I had a Peroni
black almost immediately. Gary being Chauffeur for the evening went
without which obviously seriously distracted him as he forgot to take
any pictures as I nearly did half a bottle of nice red later and I just
remembered in time.
There were some nice watches
there which I will list and some nicer people. All different types from
other forums too but all very cool and as you will see the watches were
all
around.
Gary (agent orange) de reguer
aluminium case filled with chronos and autos, the light wasn't great
but the Damasko came out just
fine.
Martin Page (Page) turned up with
his partial collection, the theme being a different classic every
day. Featured, Zodiac val. 72 diver, Benrus val. 72 pilot,
Breitling 806 Navitimer. he has a .321 and a Space Compax as well + I
think he said a 50's Hanhart to add to the
group.
Ben (light blue shirt) and Martin
B were there from TZ - UK. They had a good selection of Divers and
other interesting autos, Seiko Marine Master, Omega Seamaster 120,
watches from Glcyne, Seiko, Eterna. a whole load of stuff, all very
cool and interesting.
Dave S. (dark blue shirt on
left of pic) from ATG Forum turned up with Some Lemania 5100
chronosgraphs from Fortis and Omega + other Lemania fair from
Italy.
We had 3 completely new to Forums
watch enthusiasts there including Simon, below in the black shirt, who
waded in with a Rolex GMT II and an Omega Flightmaster. He did well
considering Ben is trying to sell him a carpet in the shot below. Ben
is just showing him the orange nylon that he wraps his carpets
in...
I brought some of my collection,
Heuer Autavia PVD IDF, Tutima F3, Rolex Submariner 5513 1967+ some from
the site. Autavia manual and the Bulova Spirit of
America.
I gave out some freeby stuff from
Linde Werdelin (thanks Sarah) the LW catalogue, worth a read and a Ski
guide. Plus some very old ATG straps. I also had a LW Elemental black
dial Biformeter with me on crocodile (which was very much passed
around) and I had the spare straps to show how you changed
straps. General consensus was, fantastic quality, design and attention
to detail and of course, 'bonkers' but everyone liked the watch so hey.
Maybe they have
got something!

High
lights for me were the nice bottle of red that I appear to have drunk,
bottle in the background. Martins Benrus and Ben's Seiko Marine Master
and not forgetting the Berg marine, deck chronomtre brought along by
David (Bristolian) Very nice watch indeed.

All in all it
was a great evening. I am definitely going to organise another one soon so stay in touch!
Cheers!
