The site is largely for chronograph enthusiasts, but that does not mean that you cannot post about other types of watches just as long as they are interesting in their own way. Discuss ‘Off topic’ subjects not relating to the watch world and post your pictures too See Forum Guide for advice.

I just managed to take this to show you the Alarm mechanism.

No joke this shot took forever..... it is also 'day for night'.

You can see the chime bending like some kind of intestine on the left and the hammer is vibrating away.

I discussed this watch with chuck Maddox a couple of times and we reckoned it was cool!

I am looking forward to getting my grubby mitts on this watch ce soir, just to see what it is really like.

It has long been a watch of great interest, even if I would go for one of the dark-dialled versions (and they first made it inside the much smaller Cosmonaut case, like my 5100 Fortis).

Automatic, Chronograph, Alarm, date, 200m waterproof. Do you need another watch?

Well of course you do, but it is an impressive spec.

Cheers

I love the blued hands and stuff Alistair.  An alarm would probably be kiss of death for me though, I'd be sure to forget and leave it set at inopportune moments.
