You guys eat dates with your beer? What happened to a good bag of crisps?

Come on Dave (J), Scott's opened the bidding with free beer in Las Vegas. Surely you can beat that?

I'm up for the it. Thornbury would be good for me, or even further down towards the nether regions of the M5.

Sure, I'll get the beers, and I'll even buy you guys some dates to eat with 'em since you like 'em so much! No, hang it all, I'll shout dinner for whoever arrives! And not just a $5.95 BBQ chicken dinner neither!
We have a road in Sydney called the M5 too, Simon. Unfortunately if you journey to its nether regions, you may not be seen again! Or you'll end up in Canberra, which is possibly worse.

Hey Dave, perhaps our M5 joins yours! I know if you keep driving down it you'll eventually fall off the edge of the world so perhaps that's where it goes.

Nope. I'm away both days. Should we plan this a bit further out so more can make it? Besides, it's the silly season and lot's will be on hols anyhoo.

Strangely enough, the 21st and 22nd August are perfect for me (wife and family going to Scotland, me staying here working, typical). However, it is in holiday time, so I'm open to dates in the second half of September. I'll need directions to the venue, so I can find a suitable park bench/bus shelter nearby.

Well look boys... Most of us seem to be able to do the 21st, is that right?

I may be able to get the Bremont EP120 for that day.

I know Simon can't make it but we can always have another one Simon in September?

I know we are all busy but we need to provide alternative dates not just 'I can't do that'? Simon give me some other dtaes when you are around?

So 21st is on then for everyone else??
