Yep! The IDF watches are very interesting. Luckily I have one in my 'now small' collection. It is a very big watch an quite a looker! Cheers!

The Wakmann is a particularly attractive watch. The Autavias are nice, but the dials are the wrong color. They oughta be white with black regs, like that Dugena you recently sold. best allen

Hi,
nice web page. Just bought a vintage Heuer autavia ? from the 1960's wanting to find out more about it. It is a Argentina Air force model with insignia on case back. Black Gloss dial with Red Chrograph hand, thin black rotating bezel numbered 1-12 arrow at 12. tachymeter scale on dial. No mention of Autavia but of that style. Silver applied hour markers. Heuer logo and swiss made printed on dial. Can anybody help ?? many thanks, Gary.

I just picked up a Vantage Chrono like the one you list above (Valjoux 7733). I am trying to find out more about this particular watch. I know that Vantage was bought by Hamilton in the 70s and was making watches for Vantage, but I don't know much more. Any additional info you might know would be appreciated. Also, if you happen to have any detailed pics of your former watch might you be able to forward?
