A good friend of mine and someone who is 'not' a watch fanatic contacted me a few months ago about this watch, anyone know what it is yet?
Well you won't find it as it is a one off!
Totally custom and put together by his brother for his 40th. What a really nice present to get for the birthday that us Brit 'middle-agers' take so seriously. Below are the pics David shot of his watch on what looks like his dining table plus his original email.
The better shot is from when he took his time and then got busy on Adobe, well he is a designer after all.

Al,
just turned 40 yesterday and I got the most amazing gift from my brother - of all the people I know I thought that you'd be the one to appreciate it. Its numbered 001 and is the only one to date. I am afraid I don't know all the technical details apart from it 25 jewels and a proper chronograph. The strap is a bit special and is from Hirsch. It the most beautiful object and I sadly find myself sitting/standing just looking at it.
The shots are a little crappy but I will take some better ones this weekend. I'll also get my brother to give me some of the technical info. He said I was the only man he knew who had ever damaged an Omega cosmic 2000 facia (I've since had it repaired) - so I was the ideal candidate to 'road test' it. I was all for only wearing it on special occasions but he's told me its an everyday watch.

Great watch wish i had a brother like that!
I am thinking of getting a watch built. I have seen the case I want and have an idea of the movement but need to know what to do now. I do not think i could assemble it myself so need to find someone who does this type of work. Can anyone help?
